Stringent printer calibration and maintenance schedules combined with correct chemical management mean your prints come out perfect every time. And they will last! All true photographic prints are processed using Kodak’s professional range of paper and chemistry (check your current prints’ back to see what range they have used). All inkjet prints are printed on genuine Giclee or museum grade archival papers with genuine Epson Ultrachrome inks.

Turnaround time

A well trained team with well refined systems means our turnaround times are second to none. Print orders received by 9am will be done that same day (with the exception of mounting and canvas orders).

Price

Higher competition in Queensland coupled with sophisticated automation means that our prices are the some of the lowest in Australia. We can often send large prints interstate cheaper than your local supplier can print them – including shipping!

Why Silver Halide?

While some competitors are jumping onto cheap and inferior outputs, we use the traditional, true photographic (or silver halide) process. Why? Much longer lasting prints, better colour reproduction and the sense of value you only get from the feel of a true photographic print. If it is not on Silver Halide it is not a photographic print.

Our process and why there is no alternative:

Streets Imaging prints on many different papers, and provides a range mounting and laminating, canvas, framing and other presentation styles. All of which are chosen on the basis of their quality alone! We will not compromise.

With so many paper types the colour management for these is handled by us so you do not need to worry about it [Read more…]. To give you correct colour and density time after time, calibration tests are executed before each and every run. This means your images are exposed and processed with consistent results every time. Your images flow automatically from your computer to our printers with little staff involvement. This means no mistakes, faster turnaround and scientific consistency (hence why we are known as a lab).

Any post print options such as mounts, frames and canvases are checked by our eagle-eye quality control team, to ensure there is not one bit of dust, or scratch or imperfection of any kind. Finally the utmost of care is taken when wrapping and packing your order so it arrives as it left. If your order arrives damaged it is reprinted and resent for free!
